Paws for a Cause!
Ready to lace up those tennis shoes for an awesome cause? This is an event that I am so excited to share with you! The Southeastern Guide Dogs Walkathon will take place on March 16th at Nathan Benderson Park, with four other walkathons being held in different regions of Florida (see website below for more information). The best part? You are encouraged to bring your four-legged furry friends with you to join in the fun! This free, family and dog-friendly event includes a 3k walk, delicious food, a beer garden, live entertainment, music, shopping, vendors galore, and of course, lots and lots of dogs!
Southeastern Guide Dogs is a non-profit organization that breeds, trains, and then gives those who cannot see the gift of a guide dog. They offer on-campus training for their students and then lifetime follow-up for their graduates. Their mission is “serving those who cannot see and those who have seen too much.” Assisting those who are vision impaired as well as veterans, Southeastern Guide Dogs offers their services as no cost. Information on the event is below, with more information on their website here: https://guidedogswalkathon.org/

Going for the World Record!
This year, we’re going for the world record! Every dog counts as we attempt to break the world record for the most dogs wearing a bandana at a single event.
Paws for a Cause
While we walk, together we’ll make an impact for people with vision loss and veterans with disabilities. Whether you raise funds for our mission or simply bring your dog to count in the world record attempt, you are making a difference. We look forward to seeing you at Walkathon!
Best regards from your Realtor and friend,
