University Park, Florida (34201) is a community that has a lot of development on the land. It was acknowledged by the National Association of Homebuilders as the “Best Community Design in America” and by the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council as the “Best Development in Region” for its exceptional perspective attention to detail, focus on visual aesthetics and natural preservation of the land. It is divided into two counties i.e. Sarasota and Manatee
This is a beautiful area that is located West of I-75 along the University Parkway corridor and it is just 15 minutes from Sarasota- Bradenton airport. It has a beautiful sparkling lake that passes through it and there are also mature trees and beautiful landscaping. It has dining restaurants and shopping malls along the Parkway.
There are many single family homes, townhouses, and condos which are conveniently located Downtown Sarasota near the beaches which are for sale and rental. The houses started being built in the late 70’s and the last family home was built in the early 2000’s with several floor plans being built by quality builders hence giving both a casual and formal living. The homes are well detailed with adequate information on the square footage, property type, area demographics, amenities, name, and contact of the real estate agents in charge of the listing. The residential homes don’t require membership in the country club.
The Palm Aire Country Club, which is a private member- owned club which encompasses 1,300 acres has two superb 18-holes, par 72 championship golf courses. It is situated north of University Parkway and it has been designed to enhance every feature of its resident’s lives. Other facilities found here include fitness, tennis, fine dining and an Olympic-sized pool. It requires one to have one to have a membership and there are a variety of plans offered.
This is a gated community this located close to I-75, SRQ airport in Downtown Sarasota and Bradenton, North of the Sarasota/ Manatee county line. The county was built in 2003 to 2005 and it has 40 homes that are on 40 acres which are a wonderful place to live for young people, families of all ages and retirees and for those who want to have a second home.
This community was developed by the Neal communities with builders including Bruce Williams Homes, Inland Homes, and Lee Wetherington Homes so as to give a feeling of Savanna Georgia styling. It has beautiful oak trees planted all over the community and well-maintained landscape.

It has 777 homes, which spread over 600 acres and has 9 unique neighbors, i.e. Arbor Lakes, Arbor Lakes Estates, Chapparal, Copper Ridge, Grand Point, Meadowlake, Misty Lake, Riverbend, and Riverpark. The residences are found in seven of these neighborhoods and are cradled by lush landscaping and trees. Most of these homes which were built from the 1990s to the 2000s are the ones that are up for sale with the floors measuring from1, 600 to 3,200 feet and they have three to four bedrooms. The prices of these homes range from $200- $500.
The amenities in the community include a private sitting dock with kayak or canoe along the Braden river, a recreational center with nature trails and a large community swimming pool. This is a Shoppe or a mall located in Sarasota that has a lot of various shops in UTC that provide Sarasota with a good combination of fine shopping and dining. There are national top restaurants and hotels, such as Hampton Inn & Suites, Courtyard Sarasota Lakewood Ranch, Hyatt Regency Sarasota, and Hampton Inn Bee Ridge. Some of the stores here include Ross Dess for Less, JoAnn Fabrics, Total Wine, Nordstrom Rack and HomeGoods. There is an Apple shop and a guitar center where you get the best instructors if you want to learn and improve your guitar skills
This is a community park perfectly located next to the University Town Center Southwest Florida. It is also called the Nathan Benderson Community Park and it is home to a variety of international championships, incredible activities of outdoors sports such as canoe and kayak races, drag boat, cross-country and triathlon events, stand up paddle, 5 to 10 km runs, corporate events and much more. In 2017, it will be hosting the World Rowing Championships. It’s the newest destination for dining, entertainment, and shopping for people in Southwest Florida.
They have a foundation whose main mission is to raise funds in order to complete all the capital improvements in the Community Park and also maintenance and establishment of a permanent endowment so as to support the continuity of the park’s operations
