◆ Lazy Locations | "Lazy Locations is my effort to share my beach and boating knowledge with you so that you can experience the true beauty that Florida and the Bahamas has to offer."  Chris offers 360 degree Virtual Tours of all locations, so you can get a great idea of each area he shares!

Exhibits, Tours & SRQ History...

Big Cat Habitat | Open Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 4pm.  They have also started "Yoga with Tigers"!  Check out there website for dates and times - great experience and informational demonstrations!

Mote Aquarium | There are so many events and activities offered at our stunning Mote Marine Aquarium!  Beautiful sea life to observe, lectures, activities for kids, Yoga with Sharks...the list goes on!

Sarasota Jungle Gardens | Open every day and so awesome for every age!  They offer great shows on the variety of animals.  If you haven't seen a Flamingo, this is the place to go!

Marie Selby Gardens | Located just around the corner from the beautiful Sarasota Bayfront, this waterfront has incredible gardens and a variety of exhibits that are constantly changing.  Image result for marie selby ◆  Historic Spanish Point | Long walking trails through beautiful gardens and lush tropical Florida landscaping over an "expansive outdoor archaeological and historic museum"!  There is so much to learn here about how Sarasota was founded and began to develop into the city it is today!

◆ Discover Sarasota Tour | "Travel into the past aboard our air-conditioned trolleys to hear stories of fascinating people, enchanting places, and intriguing events that shaped Sarasota's amaingly rich culture!"

Water Sports...

◆ Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Board & Kayak | There are several locations on where you can rent kayaks, SUPs, and other water activity gear for a few hours or all day long! From the south end of Siesta Key, you can explore the mangroves or paddle out into the Gulf - Lido Key also offers a great location to launch from, and from Downtown Sarasota!  Check out the link  to see some of the top rated rental locations.
Ski-A-Rees | Very talented & entertaining (Free) ski shows every Sunday at 2pm from February to May and again in October and November! Shows are on Lido Key just past the bridge to Longboat Key!

Boat Rentals | Boat rental spots can be found up and down the Sarasota county coast on mainland and on our Keys!  Depending on which area you want to explore or fish, you can lease a boat close to that particular location!

◆ Skyzone Trampoline Park | Young ones need to drain some energy?  Bring them here and they can bounce until their heart is content!

◆ Tree Umph | Walk through the tree tops at this "14-acre piece of land...filled it with some of the most daring, innovative adventure games you'll find anywhere outside your own imagination. Suspended logs? Check. Wobbly footbridges? You bet. Ziplines?"

◆ Escape Room Sarasota | This is a great activity if you are trying to stay indoors!  We know have a few different areas offering this challenging and team-building "escapes"!

◆ Sarasota/Bradenton Triathlons | This is a great place for triathlons!  Jump in the warm, calm Gulf for the swim and go from there!  Up and Down the coast they are held all year, from very competitive to just-for-fun!

Rover Runners | Running group that meets Wednesday evenings for a 5K at different locations around SRQ and then follow up with a beer and dinner at a local restaurant!  Join them on Facebook to find out more!


Parks...

Nathan Benderson Park | This is a 600-acre community park with a 400-acre community lake and "slated to become North America’s premier 2,000-meter sprint rowing course and Regatta Center"!  There is a smooth paved track right around the lake, making the perfect place for running, rollerblading and biking!

Phillippi Estate Park | Charming place to stroll under majestic Oaks covered in hanging moss, walk the trails within the Florida tropical forest, let kids run around on the playground, fish from the docks, or enjoy the Farmers Markets on Wednesday!

The Celery Fields | Florida is not known for hills or mountains, but the Celery Fields is Sarasota's "Mountain"  The city and Audubon Society have done an incredible job creating walking and biking trails, fishing, kayaking, and wildlife viewing for the entire community to enjoy here!

Rothenbach Park | This is a great place to go biking!  Smooth paved path and under a beautiful canopy of Florida natural forest!
